1. Agreement and Acceptance of Terms

Please carefully read these Terms of Service ("Terms") before using the CoffeeProphet application ("App"). By using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

These Terms are governed by Austrian law. For users in the European Union, GDPR and the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) additionally apply.

The current version of these Terms is always available at coffeeprophet.net/terms and in the App under Settings → Legal → Terms of Service.

2. What CoffeeProphet Is

2.1. Application Definition

CoffeeProphet is a cultural entertainment application that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze photographs of coffee grounds and generate text interpretations based on visual patterns and user questions.

• Platforms: Android (Google Play), Web (coffeeprophet.net/app/)
• Model: Freemium (free first reading + paid options)
• Technology: Image analysis via OpenAI GPT-5.2 Vision
• Languages: English, Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian, Serbian
• Cultural basis: Turkish coffee cup reading (tasseography), recognized by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage

2.3. Nature of Interpretations

Interpretations are generated by artificial intelligence based on visual pattern analysis. They have no scientific basis, no proven predictive value, and should not be used for making important decisions. Any resemblance to real events is coincidental. This is cultural entertainment, similar to reading a horoscope in a magazine.

3. Age Restrictions

Minimum age: 4+ years (per Google Play classification).

Users under 13: May use the app with parental or guardian consent and supervision.

Users 13–18: May use the app independently; parental consent may be required for paid subscriptions in some jurisdictions.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

By using the App, you agree NOT to:

• Violate any law or regulation
• Upload viruses, malware, or attempt to hack the app or servers
• Upload obscene, violent, or hateful content
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools
• Manipulate ratings or reviews
• Create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions
• Impersonate another person or the developer

Violations may result in a warning, access restriction, or permanent account ban without refund.

Community Wall

The Community Wall is a social feature where users share impressions related to their readings. Use of the Wall is additionally governed by our Community Rules, which form part of these Terms.

Moderation. Community Wall content passes an automated safety pre-filter. Content assessed as clean is published and becomes visible immediately; content the filter flags is held for review by a human moderator before it becomes visible. We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, remove, hide, or refuse any content, and restrict, suspend or permanently ban any account, that violates these Terms, the Community Rules, or applicable law. Where we remove or restrict your content, we will, where required by applicable law, inform you of the main reason for that decision.

Display name. On the Community Wall you appear under a self-chosen display name, not your real name. You must not choose a name that impersonates another person, our team, or "Narine", or that contains contact details, links, or offensive language. We may reset a display name that breaches these rules.

Reporting and blocking. You can report any post or comment for review (··· menu → Report) and hide a user's content from your view (··· menu → Hide author). We review reports and take action under the Community Rules.

Age. Posting impressions and comments on the Community Wall requires you to be at least 16 years old; younger users may read but not post.

We do not process or store your payment card information directly.

Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → CoffeeProphet → Cancel

Web (Stripe): Contact support@sonaya.ai to cancel

Important: Deleting the app does NOT cancel your subscription. You must cancel through the payment platform.

5.5. Refunds

Refunds are processed through the respective payment platform:

• Google Play: Request refund (within 7 days)
• Stripe (Web): Email support@sonaya.ai

6. Intellectual Property

What We Own

Dinkel AI & MEDIA TECH GmbH owns the application code, UI design, graphics, "CoffeeProphet" name and logo, algorithms, and text content.

Your Content

Photos you upload remain your property. We do not claim copyright on your photos. Reading results are generated by AI — you may use and share them freely.

User-generated content (Community Wall). When you post an impression, comment, chosen display name, or other content to the Community Wall, you grant Dinkel AI & MEDIA TECH GmbH a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and distribute that content within the App and its community features, for the purpose of operating the service. You retain ownership of your content. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared with other users or retained for moderation, safety, or legal-compliance purposes.

Restrictions

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app code. You may not use the CoffeeProphet brand for commercial purposes.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

App Provided "AS IS"

The app is provided as-is with no warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that interpretations will be meaningful, that the app will be error-free, available 24/7, or compatible with all devices.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Austrian law, our liability is limited to €9 or the cost of your subscription for the last 3 months, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or punitive damages.

8. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Austrian law. All disputes are resolved in Vienna, Austria courts.

9. Your Rights

• Cancel subscription at any time (free, no penalties)
• Delete your account at any time (Settings → Account → Delete)
• Request a copy of all your data (GDPR Article 15)
• All GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection)

10. Service Changes

We may discontinue the service, remove features, or change prices at any time. We will provide at least 30 days notice and refund the proportional unused subscription period.

11. General Provisions

• Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the full agreement between you and us.
• Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
• Force majeure: We are not liable for failure caused by natural disasters, war, pandemic, or infrastructure outages beyond our control.
• Language: The English version of these Terms is authoritative. Translations are for convenience only.

12. EU Consumer Information

If you are a consumer in the European Union:

• 14-day right of withdrawal for purchases, except where you have expressly requested immediate performance of digital content/services, in which case the right of withdrawal is lost once performance has begun (Art. 16(m) Directive 2011/83/EU)
