Turkish coffee culture is inscribed on the UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage (2013). Reading the cup is part of that living tradition.
1Drink your Turkish coffee, turn the cup upside down on the saucer and let it cool.
2Take three photos of the cup: the inside from above, and both sides.
3Write your question — love, luck, work, money. Your reading is ready in a couple of minutes.
Your cup is read in full — six symbols are found in the grounds. Free, you see three of them and the opening of your answer; the rest of the reading is one dollar, once, if you want to go on.

You told me about myself — it hit me like a slap in the face with everything I had been holding inside. Thank you so much, I will be back for another reading.
It did me good. It gave me courage and support. Thank you.
I am very grateful that you read my cup, and I was really pleased with the interpretation as well.

The three photos are used only to interpret your reading. We do not keep the full-size photos: they are sent to the AI service for analysis, deleted there within 30 days at the latest, and are not used to train models. All that stays with us is a small preview of one photo (about 300px) so you can find the reading in your history — and it is deleted when you delete the reading or your account. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
It is read from your photos. The symbols come from the shapes the grounds actually left in your cup, and the interpretation is written against the question you asked — so two people never get the same reading.
No. The reading works right in your browser — no registration, nothing to install. You can sign in later if you would like your readings kept with your account.
Your first reading is free — three of the six symbols and the opening of your answer, no card asked for. The rest of that same reading is one dollar, once. Come back for another cup and you choose: a single reading, a subscription if you read regularly, or install the app, where your first reading is free and complete. Nothing renews unless you choose it.
It is a tradition, not a science. Reading the grounds — tasseography — has been part of Turkish coffee culture for centuries, and Coffee Prophet is here for that experience. It is entertainment: it does not give medical, financial, legal or psychological advice.
Any finely ground coffee brewed without a filter will leave grounds in the cup. What matters is that the grounds settle and dry on the porcelain — that is what the reading is made of.
The idea is the same, the path is not. To have ChatGPT look at your cup you need an account, and image reading usually sits behind a paid plan. Here you open the page, take three photos and get your reading — no account, no card, and the first one is complete. The reading is also built the way a cup is actually read: where a symbol sits matters as much as what it is — the rim is the days just ahead, the bottom is what lies deeper, the handle side is you.
A reading is built from the shapes the grounds leave behind and from where they sit in the cup. A heart is about feeling, a road about a choice ahead, a bird about news arriving, an eye about someone watching, a key about something that is about to open. The same shape means different things depending on where it lands.
Marks near the rim speak about the days just ahead; the deeper the shape sits toward the bottom, the further away in time it is. The handle side is about you and your home, the opposite side about other people. This is why the same cup never reads the same way twice.
Your cup is ready. Your reading is a couple of minutes away.
